A couple of days ago there was a thread about cheap business class fares between LHR and GRU with JJ, the caveat is that you have to buy them from a travel agency since Brazilian cardholders were getting a much higher fare online. Maybe you could consider a one-stop each way itinerary.
Next flights: MEX-JFK-MEX AM 788 | MEX-JFK-FCO AM 788/AZ A332 | AMS-MEX 74M

Indeed, come December JJ might be a good choice, and what's more is that you will be able to fly on an A332 on the EZE-GRU too.
AR's Club Cóndor is usually not particularly expensive compared to others, and even if the seats are not lie-flat they are still pretty comfortable. The only problem is that anything could happen between now and December; they won't go under, but some major changes (for better or for worse) should be expected.
AF is usually cheaper than BA in Business and the seats are very comfortable. Furthermore, you can probably choose between arriving in LHR or LCY (the latter is a great airport). A trick I've learned is try booking through KLM, as they will most likely offer you AF flights with KL prices (the best combo)--keep fiddling with dates until they do.
Other one-stop options include AZ, IB and LH (whose Business class products I am unfamiliar with) and two-stop options include LA (via SCL, MAD) and LX (JJ to GRU, then LX via ZRH).
Incidentally, the BA fare you quote is pretty impressive, from this end (London) it can cost in the region of £5,000 or £2,500 if you start the trip abroad (eg. AMS, CDG, ZRH).
All I would suggest is try and book within the next fortnight, you'd be surprised at how the offers (and the availability) go deteriorating even so many months before your travel date.

Hi Eddie, the price was in fact lower and only available to Brazilian Credit Card Holders (i took advantage and bought a LHR-GRU-LHR C ticket for only EUR 460,00). In order to enjoy the flight i booked a FF C ticket GRU-LHR (that could include a leg from GIG). I just come back from Germany thru AF and one thing very clear in Brazil is that non-stop to Europe are more expensive than a connecting flight. TP and IB are announcing in Brazil C class fares to some European destinations for about US$ 2,200 from Sao Paulo only.
New York + Rio de Janeiro = One of the best combinations !
