Hello everyone,
I was just wondering about Go! airlines. I know they are relatively new and they are only in Hawaii domestic routes, but I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to experience these guys? And what are they like? Would you recommend them over Hawaiian? I just don't know a lot about them and was just wondering because I may go to Hawaii sometime in the next few years. Oh and what are their load factors like compared to Hawaiians or Aloha?
Thanks!
Devin B.

Go is a cheap airline. If they are cheaper, then go for them. They offer a level of service that is acceptable on these short flights. Assigned seating isn't really needed on the CRJ where all the seats are about the same since there are no dreaded middle seats. Also if you have to pay for your bottle of water or can of Pepsi in the airport, why should you not pay for it on the plane? The flights are under an hour. Go! gets you where you want to go for cheap. They aren't designed to have a desirable flying experience but rather be quick, cheap and efficient.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Quoting RoseFlyer (Reply 3): Also if you have to pay for your bottle of water or can of Pepsi in the airport, why should you not pay for it on the plane?
American Eagle tried to do this out of LAX, that failed. I would prefer that they raise fares a buck and give pax free drinks.(A buck is 1/3 the price of bottled water in an airport(at PHX at least)
In regards to whether you should try go!, I'd say fly Aloha one way, and go! the other.
