While I was at Barnes n Noble yesterday with my wife, I came across a nice new book, simply called "747". Written by the Chief engineer who put the 747 program into use back in the 60's. I didn't know it was comming out, but I thought I would FYI everyone here...Joe

i originally posted this with the barnes and noble link, but amazon.com has it cheaper...but i get one pass miles if i buy it from barnes and noble!!!! conflicts!!

I bought it a few weeks ago. It is a pretty good read, but the author seems to think very highly of himself.
