I'm doing a quick BOS-ORD jaunt this evening. I'm annoyed that I have to check bags, but it's part of the deal nowadays.

I'm flying SLC - DEN tomorrow, does that count?
Quoting Zudnic (Reply 4): I'm annoyed that I have to check bags
For BOS-ORD? I talked to a TSA guy yesterday and he said that normal carry-ons are ok except the liquids/gels ban...and everyone I saw go thru security had a carry on.

Just arrived at CDG from JFK on AF011... with more than 4 hours delay, due to the security procedures but also because JFK was closed during more than 1 hour yesturday evening due to severe thunderstorms.
ALL the flights at the Terminal 1 were between 3 and 5 hours delayed.

Just flew in to HMO from MEX on AM 702 on N168PL. Sweet bird with new interiors. Seat 9E, a bit too far for me to hear the engines, I love the sound of those JT8D's!

Quoting Samair (Thread starter): just out of interest who is flying or has today?
Just flew AMS - LBA on KLc. Flight was on time and was allowed usual hand luggage etc, didn't notice any difference apart from the frequent announcements at AMS for USA bound travellers advising them no liquids in luggage etc, and all the arrivals from the UK were obvious to spot as they were all carrying transparent bags with passports etc.
Also in LBA terminal there were several armed police patrolling which isn't usual as far as I'm aware (although I don't fly into LBA often).
Safe flying everyone.

1 leg down; just one person ahead of me in the security line. There may have been more than the standard number of TSA agents on duty - more than I recall seeing before. Arrived into PDX a bit early.
I checked the lines at the PDX security checkpoint after my arrival. The lines were quite short.
It seems that most travelers have quickly adapted to the new (U.S.) requirements.

I flew the 6:00am departure TPA-DEN on TED just yesterday. The security at TPA was just getting briefed on the new security measures, then finally opened up the concourse for us at 5:00am. I was traveling with two other associates who promptly had their "liquid" items removed from their carry-on. The screener I got let me through w/o even opening my bag...something I'm sure that screener was quickly corrected on soon thereafter.
Flight departed on-time, arrived early.
