to save money ?
Surprise they have not yet done an all white plane after delivery....don't you think that would save money? or a bare metal livery..
Also makes the aircraft lighter thus reduce MTOW, reduce payload and burn less fuel...
I think that would be the fatal move after all Ryanair's cost cutting measures
(e.g. sticking csafety card behind seats, removing reclinable seats, having to ask for you barfbag, crew not being able to charge their phones on board, crew having to pay for water on board, pilots only having one piece of paper per route to prepare it, etc)
A man without the knowledge of his past history, culture and origins is like a tree without roots

All of the above dpn't surprise me at all, FR couldn't survive without these measures, they accuse BA of being desperate. Their time will come, they can't avoid high fares forever.
The matter of the fact is, they are able to remove these features, because people are prepared to fore go these luxuries if they can save £10 on their ticket.
Wrighty

Cinema type hinged seats bases. So all the crap/rubbish/sick just runs off and this saves cleaning them.
Lino flooring.
Hat-rack beds (at an extra cost)
Urinal toilets with no sink (so it is smaller, Men don't wash their hands anyway! )
No rear galley just seats all along the back.
Flog the 737-800s for more than what they paid for them.
Get loads Tu-204s at a very low price. Two for the price of a 737.
Re-brand as Paddyair.
Oh... and use the emergency slides for getting them off quick.
