What do you think is the best looking regional aircraft?

In my opinion, Bombardier is far ahead on this subject. Their CRJ series is one of the best looking aircraft I have layed my eyes on.

What is your opinion?

I second that...I can't wait for the CRJ-900X should come close to the 717, and honestly it looks better as well. (Which is not easy, the 717 looks great too)

Best in the business, looks as sleek as a biz-jet.

It is a shame that the CRJ's are considered uncomfortable to so many passengers (myself included) because I think it is truly the best looking RJ ever made. I would also venture to say it is one of the best looking passenger aircraft ever produced.

I agree. However the CRJ-200 was very poorly thought out and as a result of that the CRJ series have gotten an undeserved reputation for being uncomfortable. CRJ200 is just a stretched challenger biz jet. Also it's the slowest in it's class, and the climb performance is horrible.

 Big grin bigthumbsup  yes

I LOVE any kind of Dash 8, they are just amazing.
They facinate me.

Taking a close second place, is the 717.
One of the most beautiful aircraft ever built.
I have just recently taken the time to appreuciate its beauty.

ok although i am a bombadier fan all the way, i dont think the CRJ is the best looking RJ. that would either be the ERJ-135 or the ERJ-170

no if we are talking turboprops then it the Dash 8 all the way. but i am not really sure which version. either the 200 or the 400.

so i guess my order is as follows

1.Q-400
2.ERJ-135
3.ERJ-170
4.Q-200
5.CRJ-700

Oh NO!

Forgot about that one.  Embarrassment
OK, the ERJ-170 takes second place on my list, then, the 717 as
a very close third.

ERj-175 gets my vote.

The AN-148 is a nice looking aircraft too.

ATR-72
CRJ-900

Those are my two favorites. I decided to include a prop and a jet.

Sorry but I'm gonna have to repeat what everyone said:

CRJ's
Dash8's
Emb-170/175/190
BAe-146 (-100/200/300)
This is in no particular order.

Erj-135/140/150's look a little long, but they look good too.

How about the worst-looking regional aircraft? Oh wait that's for another thread...
