Soon I shall be non-revving LGW-MCO. I have never been on a B777 but I prefer to fly VS than BA? Any suggestions?

Working for VS I am probably biased but my favourite aircraft is the 777  Smile  Smile

Non-revving to Orlando ? GOOD LUCK !!

I'd go with VS if I were you, bigger plane, more seats, more flights, more chance !!

You'd be suprised. I doubt you'll have any problem, particularly if you are flying in the next month or two. Orlando has huge peaks and troughs and if you avoid the peaks (i.e. Christmas, easter, school holidays etc.) you should be fine.

I have flown non-rev to Orlando about a dozen times in the last couple of years and never had a problem. Often flights have hundreds of empty seats.

Hope this Helps.

Regards

So long 701, it was nice knowing you.

I have non-revved to MCO in peak months in the past with the entire family and had no problems. Of course I did my homework right and did not turn up and asked to be checked-in. This time we are travelling off peak and I just need two seats. So far things look good on all three flights on the days I need. Of course if anyone from BA or VS here wishes to give me some advise I am open for it !

VS... heard a lot of good things about them.

VS is nice, took my daughter to MCO last year (she was 5). The crew really went out of their way to look after her.

The rest of the family are off to UVF soon with VS... looking forward to their flights with VS!

I flew with them in 2002 when their A340-600's were being delivered, loved the service, would definitely fly with them again!

Last time I flew VS from MCO to MAN the service was good but the seat was rock hard and the IFE was terrible.

BA 777's are very comfortable, if you don't mind the 3-3-3 config. The only problem is that you might find yourself being bussed in from a remote stand on the return flight to LHR.

VS service is nowhere near as good as it used to be and their flights to Orlando usually have charter flight style seating (thin hard cushions, less legroom).

I'd pick BA on that route.

The glass isn't half empty, or half full, it's twice as big as it needs to be.
