Battle Of The Americans- Round 4!

Posted (7 years 12 months 3 days 10 hours ago) and read 4035 times:

here are the results:

UNITED- 20
nwa-12

MAXJET- 20
spirit- 12

HAWAIIAN- 14
ALASKA- 13
fedex- 5

so the winners are United, Maxjet, and Hawaiian. Now I had been thinking about what to do with the category with 3 airlines, whether to let one go on or two. Well since it was so close I thought that they should both go through... so this will not be the final round... this will get it down to 2 airlines for the final round!!!
I will add one special livery to each airline... if I can find one that is still in operation

I'm leaving the special liveries up just in case some one else knows of different liveries... If there aren't any "special" liveries up for a certain airline that doesn't have one already posted feel free to post them... but if there is already one picture of a special livery don't post anymore pictures of that airlines different liveries!

let the VOTING Begin!!!

I wish UA flew mainline to MYR, that way you wouldn't be stuck in a smelly Saturn for 12 hours.

Quoting Alaskaqantas (Thread starter):
ALASKA AIRLINE vs. UNITED AIRLINES

Easy . . . Alaska all the way. United and their yet again redesigned, recolored, resized "U" is getting old.

Chester - well, he's timeless . . . Alaska wins hands down. Of course, I'm not at all biased . . .

Ha, no question . . . who doesn't LOVE Pu'ulani! Hawaiian winds easily. Beauty aircraft, beauty livery . . .

irked  wink  It's a great livery. Unique, one of a kind, timeless, like AA . . . see that Eskimo, and there's no question, it's AS . . .

I agree with ANCflyer here... its timeless like he said and if people see it they know AS... Although AS was thinking about changing it a while ago, they asked all of the MVP Golds what they thought and in the end were told to keep it. I hope that AS does a little something maybe spice up the body of the aircraft!

my votes:

  • AS... Hands down

  • hawaiian... very hard choice!

The message you were about to post is too short and probably not of any higher value to the topic at hand.

Alaska had lost in previous round. It shouldn't be included. But I understand Alaskaqantas problem in setting up a top 2 final round. So, it is going to be (and I am so sure this will become the final outcome):

United and Hawaii.

Who will be the Miss USA version of airline liveries? I can't wait to find out.  bouncy

and I quote "The message you were about to post is too short and probably not of any higher value to the topic at hand. You should think long and hard before posting a message in this forum and make it detailed and a valuable addition to the topic discussed.

Avoid posting "Me Too" messages. These are messages that are posted by people who agree to a point being discussed and post a one liner, "me too!", "Good post Jim!", "I disagree" or similar message. This takes up time as readers must sort through these messages which have no real value to the group at large. Any message containing nothing more than a line or two of text is probably not worth posting.

If you have an opinion on a topic, you should in detail express why you have the opinion and what made you come to that conclusion.

Your post should be relevant to the topic discussed."

I didn't expect AS to get this far, and I feel bad saying this, but I don't see them going beyond this round(you could always change that  Wink), so I didn't feel like it was wrong when I put AS into the poll. (which I did for a few reasons as stated above) Big grin

Anyways keep up the vites... one more week left!!
