In order to bring a better service we´ve seen many airlines are joining. So which one do you think is best Sky Team or Star Alliance?

SkyTeam is the better of the two IMO. Ive flown using both the star alliance and skyteam, and skyteam seems to be more streamlined and easier to deal with.

ONEWORLD

Its getting a few good members, well established airlines, and is the most profitable alliance out there at the moment

I don't think you can generally say which one is better, but which one is better for an individual's needs. To me, Star is by far the best option. Living in NZ, we have connections with NZ, SQ, ANA, TG, Asiana - the best variety you can wish from such a remote place. Next for me would be OneWorld due to the QF links. In terms of SkyTeam only KE serves AKL/NZ, and they don't really have the network/connections that are best for me...

Although Star Alliance is bigger. i would have to say that Skyteam is the best in service. I mean before Delta joined it their service was terrible!. Not only that but Skyteam is picky in which they choose to let in their alliance. SKyteam keeps it easy and enjoyable. Almost all the flights i have ever been on have been on Skyteam.

It depends on where your travel takes you. For Asia, Star or oneworld are by far the best. For Europe and North America SkyTeam comes out on top. With CO and DL's large European presence, many destinations can be made with only one connection where it would take a double connection with Star or oneworld

It really depends on who you are and what you want out of an alliance. For me Star Alliance works much better. Skyteam serves the cities I fly to pretty well, but at least from the United States, they don't really offer first class. For someone who sometimes does fly first class, I appreciate that United and Lufthansa and other Star Alliance carriers still have first class. Skyteam isn't as good in that respect since Skyteam has very limited first class offerings. United just makes too much sense for me though for most flights, although it changes on a case by case basis.

Got it in one  checkmark

For me, the best Alliance is SkyTeam because I can fly them out of regional airports in the UK where I live and then connect through either EWR, AMS or CDG onto my final destination.

Not for long, Skyteam will have China Southern, they have aeroflot, which means that they will have the Asia part of russia covered, no alliance will have that covered, they also have Korean air, along with NW's network in Asia. thats a pretty strong network, and with Malaysia a likely future entrant, Skyteam is going to be a global power.

Just wait for the day MH being accepted into Skyteam. It is an event I am really anticipating.

No other carrier will complete Skyteam's network hole in South East Asia and Australia/New Zealand other than MH. Not even China Sothern.

My prefered alliance is SkyTeam, but I agree with 9MMAR, there is a big gaps in it's network

If I had my own way I would welcome the following airlines into SkyTeam:
Kenya Airways - Already strong partners with KLM
Malaysia Airlines - The key to a future SkyTeam preasence in South Asia, parters with KLM
Garuda Indonesia - Also another key for SkyTeam in South Asia, again has a healthy relationship with MH
China Southern - A future airline for the alliance perhaps and with the Chinese economy booming, this could be a great asset for SkyTeam!
TAM - Although many have said TAM could go to Oneworld, I would love to see TAM in Skyteam oneday
Avianca - Rumoured to join SkyTeam in the future
China Airlines - Again rumoured to join SkyTeam in the future

It seems to me that Skyteam is a joke compared to Star, especially in terms of premium carriers. While Star has SQ, TG, ANA, Asiana, LH, LX, SA, and NZ, Skyteam has AF, KE, and maybe Continental (but then I'd add UA to Star). I just don't see the comparison between the two.

I like to think on this topic like politics... I like to look at the individual and not at the party its representing, with that being said I do like one party much more then the other, but I look at every person/airline separate of its alliance.

So I would have to say that Oneworld is great because of the QF/BA/CX, I use QF alot. so oneworld has some of the most world renowned airlines

Star alliance has heaps of airlines, and some of them are great with alot of choices, so they pretty good.

Sky team has AF which is a plus in my book, but out of the 3 alliances they would be my least favourite.

Because I live in Copenhagen and are travelling a lot to Southeast Asia I must say Star. When I am travelling to BKK I can choose between SK, TG, LH, LX, AU, SQ (any forgotten?) All top carriers on launghaul, and there are competition between them, so at least one of them will have a good deal.

They dont seem to be, I was disappointed with a few ailrines that they added who will remain nameless.

All joking aside, I agree it depends on your needs and where you live. I prefer star alliance because I utilize the airlines that belong to that network more than I do the Skyteam carriers. Even though I maybe biased to United, I still think that you really cant say that one is better than the other. Both have some of the worlds leading Airlines with premium service.

As many have said, it really depends on where and what airline you tend to fly. I live in Mexico, where maybe SkyTeam is a better option as AM is part of it, and CO, DL and NW fly here, but I have been an Advantage member quite sometime, and AA is the only airline that can realy get me home to Grenada easily, and AA basically flies where I need to fly, I am with OneWorld.
