Just as the topic asks do they? If not, what kind of aircraft do they use?

I flew on Transat last year to YVR and it was on the Tri-star. I was impressed how clean and well maintained the interior of the aircraft was. It was very nice.

Thanks for the info Rootsgirl, I hope they are still using the Tristar when I go!

It's a mixed bag. They also use the 752. Some of their YYZ-YVR flights appear on amadeus & oag.com

Does anybody know what routes TS plans to use the L1011 during the summer? Will they keep them mainly in North America while flying the Airbuses to Europe?

The L1011 is frequently used to cities in Florida, notably FLL...not sure from where though, probably YUL though...

Flew the route last summer. Scheduled to be a 330-200, but when that plane broke down on the runway, it ended up being a Tristar-150. In the summer, most of Transat's western flights are trans-Atlantic flights with 330's and 310's, so those planes could be used on the route to help place them for the trans-Atlantic flights.
