They've taken delivery of their first 767, which series is it?

Looks like a 757-200 series to me..... Or it's on hell of an ugly 767!

Icelandair does not have any, nor does it have the intention of adding any 767s. Right now, their 757-200/300 fleet is doing the trick for them.

Icelandair has eleven 757-200 (one of which is a freighter) and one 757-300. One more 757-300 is on order for delivery spring 2005.

It should be making an appearance at MAN as "Man-Air" are expected to be utilising it for a while on their South African routes from November.

Of course he knew that picture was a 752!
If not, he could have just read the caption, and he wouldn't have posted it!

He posted a picture of an Icelandair plane to add a little colour to his post. Obviously there are no pictures of the 767 they're using, or else he would have found one, and he wouldn't have had to ask what series it was!  Insane

thanks to the UK users who took the post seriously and gave helpful answers!  Smile

And now it is confirmed that Icelandair got their B767:

Icelandair (Jul02, 2003)
Has added a Boeing 767-300ER to its fleet. The aircraft 'TF-FIA' was previously operated by TWA and will operate on behalf of Portugal's charter airline Yes Charter. Icelandair is planning to add a 2nd B767 later in the year and has already secured a contract for this aircraft with new Manchester-based Start-up Man-Air.
