Anyone know how much a second hand CFM56 complete engine unit costs?

How about a RR RB211 535G?

GE CF6?

PW JT9D?

Just trying to get an idea of how much things cost - capital needed in maintaining an aircraft.

Cheers folks,

CM

If you wanna buy it for personal use, it costs a couple of million. Just buy a BR, cheaper, and quieter.

..You may as well ask him to buy one of these.. It has roughly the same thrust and comes with a transparent and metallic style set:

I have a few of them sitting in my backyard. I can have them shipped with red, blue or green fanblades. Just pick a color and send the check.

(Sorry, I couldn't resist the urge to joke a little  Nuts )
