I love it! This livery is simply beautiful. Aircraft to arrive in Auckland on September 21, first revenue flight is NZ103 AKL-SYD on September 30.

The NZ livery looks very sharp on the A320...the plane looks quite impressive in this photo.
Always nice to see Airbus narrowbodies down-under again though (if I am not mistaking).

I'd have to disagree. I think the problem is not the ANZ livery (which I quite like), but the fact that it doesn't suit the A320, imo. Besides, I don't like the bulbous nose of the A320...the 737 looks much more attractive. Please don't take that the wrong way - it's a purely aesthetical consideration.

NZ Air livery looks great on the A320 . Definately looks better then the 737 .

Are Air NZ going to name their A320's ? I think the Maori names sound wonderful - I flew a 767-200ER NAN-HNL, it was called "Aotearoa" which is I believe what the Maori call New Zealand - The Land of the Long White Cloud - fantastic ! Aotearoa - just rrrroolllls off the tongue.

Gosh, JGPH - you were on ZK-NBA, the first 762 we ever got!
I suggested directly to our CEO we name the A320s - he said he'd 'pursue the idea', but I'm not optimistic 
The A320 will be functioning as a 'backup' aircraft and also to complete a last few hours of training from its arrival until September 30, so it will no doubt be seen in SYD at some point prior to the 30th.

It is to be called "Rainbow Warrior" in honour of previous French input into NZ's ability to transact international (transport) policy.

I really like the the way A321 looks in the livery. I think that the A321 would look much better in the old livery or in the one that : 9V-SVE posted. I like those liveries because they have more green in the livery. I love the Maiore symbol. I love its meaning. The pacific people have such nice things to say about their symbols.

Geez, ZK-NBA, Aotearoa.
I had a photo taken of me sitting in the captain's seat of that one when it first arrived.
Flew Seattle-Wellington direct to signify the resumption of Air NZ trans-Tasman services out of the Capital which had been monopolised by Qantas (and their 747SP's and 767's) after the retirement of the DC8's.
Was on static display the next day, hence the photo although it's long since been lost.
TG992, why don't you keep at him about the names?
We've got the seven canoes on the 747's, birds for the 737's. (I might be out of date here. Do the 744's and 733's still carry names?)
Either rivers, lakes or mountains for the A320's would be a nice touch.

@doorstomanual: You are totally WRONG 
ANZ livery on A320 looks phantastic, I think it's hard to find an airline-type where the NZ-colors don't look nice!
Also on our little cute fatty (737).
