Attn JFK Spotters:
On Friday Oct 3rd BA will have 2 Concorde departures at JFK. Flight 002 at 0900 and Flight 004 at 1300, Both to LHR. The extra Concorde arrived Thursday night from YYZ.

It's too bad that the Concorde is flying into history. The BA concorde used to fly through OAK on its flight around the world because OAK was generally less restrictive on noise than other airports...including LAX.

Also, Air France did a two or three week concorde promotion at OAK that was nicknamed "Flight to nowhere." The concorde made two flights per day from OAK to about halfway to Hawaii and back. They served delicacies on that flight. At that time, it was reported that was the first time the concorde ever made money...at $800 a pop.

So long, Concorde! It was great while it lasted!

I will be flying on BA004 the second dept on Oct 16th.

BA2 will be leaving around 11am now due to the fact that last night's BA1 went tech and so the crew rest period will be infringed in NY.
