I was just looking through some new pictures, and I saw this picture of the Business class of KLM's new 777 that was just delivered:

And I was shocked to see that there are no PTV's. Why would KLM skimp on the cost of IFE on a brand-new airplane? I mean, PTV's make a world of difference in an 6+ hour transatlantic crossing. Can anyone tell me why they elected not to have them installed?
Or it just occured to me, that perhaps the PTV's are the kind that fold away into the armrests, is that the case? Forgive me for being a little naive.

Check again, economy is shown on this site WITH PTV's. You don't really think Business has NONE??

Deja vu... this same thread appeared yesterday. There's PTVs in the armrests in WBC, in the seatbacks in Economy. It's the same system as NW's.

No Mike actually it is an international aircraft. KLM has found a very interesting way to give the WBC passengers their PTVs. The J class seats don't have PTVs but the gate agents block as many Y seats as there are J pax so that if the J pax want to watch a movie, they can get up and go sit in a Y seat and watch a movie there. I'm told it's very luxurious and elegant.
