Topic: Airlines That Still Use BAC-111 Username: SA006 Posted 2003-11-02 18:31:09 and read 1578 times.Hi everyone
I would like to know which airlines(or cargo) still operate the BAC-111
I know Nationwide in South Africa do on their JNB-CPT routes.
Are there any other carriers?
Cheers

Tikal Jets still uses their 2 BAC-111s on flights from GUA to Flores, though I suspect these will be eventually replaced with thier new DC-9s
Several domestic NIgerian airlines use the BAC-111, including EAS.
British European still uses them on charters from the UK.

Tikal Jets I am pretty sure no longer operate 1-11 - their website does not mention them in their fleet detail
British European (but I think you meant European) no longer operate any 1-11 as ops are now banned due to noise.
Don't think any Nigerian airlines still fly 1-11 as ops were banned due to a crash
A new operator is Libyan Arab Airlines who have recently taken delivery, though this is probably for VIP ops?
