| Topic: Can DC-10-30 Do Nonstop LAX-NRT? Username: H. Simpson Posted 2003-11-24 15:01:09 and read 2596 times. I'm just curious...can a DC-10 fly from LAX-NRT nonstop? How about SEA-NRT? | ||
| Topic: RE: Can DC-10-30 Do Nonstop LAX-NRT? Username: TR Posted 2003-11-24 15:20:04 and read 2495 times. Distance between LAX and NRT is not even 9000 kms so it should be possible for a DC-10 to cover that route. Guess SEA to NRT is quite a bit shorter so that should be possible without any problems. | ||

| Topic: RE: Can DC-10-30 Do Nonstop LAX-NRT? Username: Gigneil Posted 2003-11-24 17:18:19 and read 2043 times. Nonstop HKG-SEA is starting to really push up against the envelope, especially considering DL used their two longest ranged MD-11s for PDX-HKG. | ||
| Topic: RE: Can DC-10-30 Do Nonstop LAX-NRT? Username: Dutchjet Posted 2003-11-24 18:01:43 and read 1933 times. NW did use the DC-10-30 for the SEA-HKG nonstop run in the mid 1990s without any real issues, but I am not sure if that flight carried much cargo in addition to pax. | ||

| Topic: RE: Can DC-10-30 Do Nonstop LAX-NRT? Username: Cdgdtw Posted 2003-11-24 18:28:48 and read 1734 times. NW does NOT operate SEA-NRT with a Dc10. SFO-NRT is the only TPAC route with DC10 aircraft. SEA is still and will continue to fly a 747-200 until the arrival of 330-200. DL used MD11 aircraft for PDX-Asia destinations. | ||
