Now my question is : What does these 777 flights go to besides Pakistan ? It seems that they go to at least one destination in the US or Canada but where ? I've heard that PIA will start service to IAH around this time and will they have fifth freedom rights on IAH-MAN ?

When does the new PIA terminal open? They probably offer more service/seats than BA!!!

Does PIA have traffic rights between MAN and JFK or are they simply technical stops?

They've got the rights - it took them a year to get them; they previously used SNN as their stopping point for transatlantic routes which was purely a tech stop.

Yes, lots of flights; on Saturdays, PIA will have all three 777s at MAN although not at the same time!!

Absolutely, their Manchester Punctuality is appalling!

Interestingly, they do much better at Birmingham...

In October 2003 when I was at MAN waiting for my MYT(EAF) flight to Tenerife, for some reason everybody started laughing when they seen the PIA 742 taxi for takeoff.  

So wait a minute...Is it confirmed that PIA will be starting IAH service and as the 777man asked, will they have rights between MAN and IAH?

Will PIA continue to have flights from ORD-BHX, or will all future flights be routed through MAN? Also, any clue when we will see a press releases for the MAN-IAH flights?

Perhaps KA501 would know more about local traffic rights ? I'm not sure who posted this schedule on Ringwayreports but it does seem very reliable since KA501 was able to figure out the destinations. An interesting note is that the MAN-ORD-MAN flightnumbers and days of operation are the same as the BHX-ORD-BHX flights so I think they will operate ORD only via MAN.

I dont think so that PIA will get pax-cargo rights between MAN and YYZ but they should between MAN-ORD and MAN-IAH. Does CO fly nonstop MAN-IAH with B 767s?

Would PIA have a problem in securing by March 28th full 5th freedom pax + cargo rights between MAN and ORD + IAH ???

PIA has full 5th freedom rights from MAN to all points in the US.

Pretty sure they've also got Canadian rights as well. CO don't operate MAN-IAH (yet, perhaps in 5 years time?)

I once looked at prices on PK from MAN to the USA, but its website doesn't list them (only USA-UK). Any idea how much? Don't wish to phone up yet, as I probably won't go.
