OK, I know there's a thread going called "What Airliner Are You?" Now, I would like everyone to post a picture of the aircraft that you feel best reflects your personality, or you as a person. For example, a 757 might reflect someone who is slick and powerful, while a 747 might reflect a someone who is classy and lives a luxurious lifestyle.

So asked another way, if you were an airplane, what airplane would you be?

I would be a 767-400 because It's powerful. And i think of myself as being powerful!!!!!!

correct me if I'm wrong here, but I thought the 764 was actually the most underpowered of the 767 models...

I´m short but I can go far! More than what some people can imagine!
So I should change my nick to TR762! Big grin

Usually, I'd probably say A340-500... but currently (actually for a few months now, and I'm not really sure when that will change again) I feel a bit more like some of the more unfortunate planes in the aircraft accidents section on a.net...  Sad

Regards,
Frank

By the way, if you feel like a military aircraft or general aviation/corporate aircraft better describes you, then by all means, say so!

I'd say a 737-300. Don't stand out from the crowd, just your average, normal person, nothing flashy, just quietly getting on with the job at hand.

Its all a matter of opinion as to what airline defines a person. To me a 767-400 could be the most powerful a/c but to you it might be the slowest. To me the 747 could not be sleek but the 777 might be.

It's all in the perspective of the person and how they define the type of a/c that best represents themselves.

The message you were about to post is too short and probably not of any higher value to the topic at hand. You should think long and hard before posting a message in this forum and make it detailed and a valuable addition to the topic discussed.

Avoid posting "Me Too" messages. These are messages that are posted by people who agree to a point being discussed and post a one liner, "me too!", "Good post Jim!", "I disagree" or similar message. This takes up time as readers must sort through these messages which have no real value to the group at large. Any message containing nothing more than a line or two of text is probably not worth posting.

If you have an opinion on a topic, you should in detail express why you have the opinion and what made you come to that conclusion.

Your post should be relevant to the topic discussed.

I wanted to post a picture of the ERJ but kept getting that message, so I copied it and pasted it below the picture. Just my personal protest against this airliners.net "your message is too short" policy.

I'm too lazy to go get a picture right now. Big grin

But....I would say I'm either a 727 or 757. My two favourite aircraft. Both representative of the better years of aviation, just post-deregulation when the US aviation scene was exploding with new airlines and all the legacy carriers were alive and continuing to provide the best service in the skies.

The 757, being born in the 80s itself...feels like it has grown up with me. I am the same age as most 757s...which is interesting. For the 727...i just love it to death, not even the 757 can compare to a flight in the 727...so either of those two would be fine by me.  Smile

In my eyes the 747-400 complies with me in most of the things to consider.

I am a wide body
I am strong and powerful
I have got stamina
I need some time to start up
I enjoy to be airborne
I am not ugly, but there exist more beautiful man than me
From my backside I look more thin than from the front
I keep what my occurrence promises: honesty, repose, trust, gentleness

And with the a/c at that picture I was gone from YYZ to FRA in April 2003.

A DC-9. Not the biggest, or fastest, or sexiest, or most modern, but generally reliable and does what it's supposed to.
