KE have decided to change their livery, contrary to what many thought wasnt happening, Landor have been appointed to re-do their image and according to another forum the logo from the tail will be dropped to be replaced by something else, considering what Landor did with JAL and Austrian Airlines, we may see another disappointing scheme.

What is Landor? Is it a company for AC schemes? I though it was BA's "landor" schemes. Sorry for the ignorance, but that's why I ask!

Thanks!

Landor Associates is a corporate image/branding consultant, they have done Varig, Alitalia, Qantas amongst others.

www.landor.com

They've done so many airlines and I think they've done an excellent job with the exception of FedEx and VARIG, although the rebranding from Federal Express to FedEx was a great idea. I love the new JAL and Austrian compared to the older ones. They did not, however, do QANTAS.

They also did the previous BA one, with the grey top and blue bottom and the crest on the fin. It's called "Landor" on the BA website.

If I read correct MAV, Landor wasn't the ones that came up with FedEx. They just came up with the livery after FedEx told them what they wanted. A separate company that does physiological stuff came up with the new name. Just like Disani water for Coke, I think a GT University affiliate came up with that name!

Did Landor do the new Austrian c/s - if they did, they should be VERY ashamed. Yuck !!
