*GRRR* DAMN! I FINALLY get ahold of a VCR that can record high-definition video and figured, eh, nothing will be on that's worth recording tonight, I'll connect it up tomorrow. What do I see when flipping through the channels tonight on Discovery HD? Concorde : The Final Flight! (Insert sound of head beating against wall). Still, it was absolutely amazing watching her fly in glorious hi-def... the Discovery Channel got some amazing shots of the Concorde made all the more amazing by the resolving power of high definition video. For those of you on the fence, it is so VERY worth getting... if you have access to high def content you'll have such a hard time going back to standard definition programming.  Smile

I think I saw that show about concorde. It was very good, but it wasn't in hi-def. It would've been great to see it in hi-def when I saw it though.

I saw the program on Discovery Wings in the UK. It's great - watch it if you have the chance. Mirrodie and a couple of other airnet members are in it, as well as Bagel Man and Rachel from ConcordeSST.com.

I really do believe I would faint if I ever got the opportunity to fly this beautifully fast Goddess of the skies. I have watched many many times but only from afar. If I ever had $10,000 I could have spent on her I gladly would have. What a magnificent airplane.

Why bother, when you could have just as easily ridden here for $1,500 on multiple occasions post-crash?  Laugh out loud
