I just heard a airplane flying over that had an engine noise I was not familiar with. I looked out the window and saw an A-300 flying over on approach.
I went to Passur.com and pulled it up. It was indeed an A-300. Problem is it doesnt show what airline! I dont think its Fed-Ex as they have a DC-10 due in and nothing else.
It should have landed around 8:05pm or so. Can anybody with access to a "radar" service type .com see if they can find it? Curiosity is killing me here!  Smile

Thanks!

FBOWeb is showing American 933 diverted to TPA landing at 8:10 PM and filed for Miami at 8:45. Appears to normally be KJFK-KMIA-SEGU

It seems the Miami weather produced quite a few diversions. There appears to be a Varig MD-11 in Nassau, an Aeromexico MD-88 in Palm Beach and an American 737 at Navy Key west. Others in Tampa include America West and US Airways.

SWA TPA, you know if you check Passur an hour later it will tell you what airline it is. It just doesnt give flight info for the first hour due to security reasons

Everyone

As of mid-night it was still at the gate in Tampa. I noticed it while running bags.

Cheers

Also about 6pm we saw a Fed-Ex MD-11 land another diversion from Miami.

HI,

Does anybody knows which route was it making???

I know it was JFK-MIA-GYE, but was it the flight going to GYE or coming from JFK??

I know this is a bit off topic, but what is the cost of the Passur.com product? I have always wanted to have some kind of access to see what is coming and going in the area but always more than I really want to spend.

I dont know the price unfortunately. It kinda looks as though it made for businesses and the radar part is an option that the company can put online or not. Seems to be marketed towards airlines and airports. I was using the one from St.Pete (KPIE) airport.

Here is the link. It lists several airports you can look at.

Was this the SAME AA A300 I saw earlier in the day at gate 78?

By the way, I believe Fed Ex has A300 and A310 in here as well as the MD-10.
