Whats it like flying in one of these as opposed to an A320/1? I once read somewhere that they were a bit bouncy and not as smooth as the other 2. Can anyone confirm of deny this please?

Thanks

I've flown several times on A319s with IAE and CFM engines and I've flown on A320/321. I've never noted that an A319 is not as smooth as the other Airbus narrowbodies. The A319 can probably climb faster than its bigger siblings. Although this has more to do with the actual load.

I fully agree with Pelican! A320/A321 and bad weather = bouncy flight, A319 and good weather = smooth flight. It has nothing to do with the make...

Actually, like many other passengers, you can“t tell the diference betwen the 2 aircraft.

Very smooth and comfortable Big grin
