Wow, I remember when ATA took out the $15 million loan from the City and the State, many on this board thought the government was nuts and ATA would default. And now they have repaid the loan back. That's awesome!

Apparently the Dallas/Ft. Worth service is doing well if they are adding a flight there.

I think the intra-state Indiana flights will do well. Not the heaviest business in the world, but they will have passengers on the planes, that's for sure.

Based on that article, it looks like GRR will be losing all ATA service, as there is no mention of GRR-IND flights and a GRR-MDW flight will be pointless once the MDW changeover occurs.

You are correct Brian......at least it's been rumored that GRR will lose service also. ATA is still waiting on what the lessors will do with the aircraft and instead of knowing last Friday, it will be another 2 weeks. It just sucks for all of the original stations that stuck with them throughout the years...I still think that the smaller airports lost in this deal, they would've faired much better with the AirTran deal. As many people have said on here, WN did it right, bought them off and is poised to eliminate the competition.

Looks like C8 will maintain MDW service to:

GRR (5x)
FNT (5x)
SBN (1x)
IND (7x)

Flint gets IND service (4x) beginning Feb 4.

Tjwgrr.....

Hold your horses on GRR. I believe GRR will only be maintained if Chicago Express can keep the Saabs they anticipated. The big wig thought they would maintain 10 airplanes. It looks as though they will only keep 8 with "possibly" one spare. So like Ryan said.....once the 2 week extension is up.....the furlough notices should start rolling out like crazy(even though everybody is on notice).

BTW.....as of yesterday the total bookings for EVV tomorrow is 22(on 3 flights)! MKE-IND tomorrow is booked 8, 3, and 1!
