AI 126, ORD-FRA, returned to ORD for unknown reasons tonight. The flight departed at 8:40pm and landed back at ORD at 10:06pm.

Can anyone shed some light on the reason for the return?

Technical snag?

No news from ORD to report. There were no unusual transmissions to the tower when AI 126 was cleared to land, so I have no idea. I'm assuming a technical problem. I'm sure if it was an engine failure, they would have continued on to LHR - oh, wait, that's BA!

Was that a statement or a question?
