Will Wn ever fly international? I am surprised they have not went to Canada or Mexico yet. What do you guys think.

That is a good question...many would say "no," but i don't think many expected WN to start PHL/PIT service a couple of years ago. So i think anything is possible, it seems like WN always has something up their sleeve Smile However, WN has the codeshare with ATA which flies to CUN, etc. But you never know Big grin

Never say never... but at this point, they have no pressing need to go international.

There's still plenty of domestic airports that would chew off their own foot to get WN service, not to mention connecting-the-dots.

Why bother? ATA can do it for them if necessary. If a legacy tanks in the near future WN will have plenty of opportunity for domestic growth for a good 5-10 years.

Hell, they could grow domestically for another 5-10 if they all stay in business. Every airport that doesn't have WN now sends a rep to beg for service as it is.

They have plenty of domestic growth opportunities to last them a while, although I suspect that the possibility of WN (or B6, or F9, or FL) getting into the Canadian market is why WestJet has been adding US service so rapidly - "staking their claim", so to speak.
