Do you know which equipment are they using at the moment from Amsterdam to Vancouver? Is it a 767 or the MD11?

I will fly around the 8th of June and I wish to get another flight on the MD11  Smile

Greetings

Service was recently upgraded from 763 to MD11 but in the future this should become an A330 rotation.

Ah, KL681. Probably the flight I've flown on the most in my life! Luxair, as the others have already posted, you've got an MD11 scheduled. The 767's are/were used in the winter months. They will fly the odd 744 in as well, but I haven't seen one for a couple of years. If you are flying economy class and want a window seat I suggest the left side of the a/c (seat A) because the seating arrangement is 2-4-3. Have a great flight and enjoy Vancouver!

On a side note, I can't wait until they get the A330's in ...  bouncy  !

YVR already gets some A330's. I love watching the KLM MD-11 come and go from YVR. Its such a great looking airplane and adds some variety to the airport. I hope it stays for a while!

AC, LTU, and Air Transat?

But does AC have any SCHEDULED (full year service?) Well........ and the latter two are charters. I wonder if they can be seen on a daily basis currently.

True, I don't think that we get daily A330's at YVR but I do see a few a week. Yes, AC is the only one with sheduled service as far as I can remember.

Air Canada only really operates 2 year round A330-300 flights out of Vancouver. One is the London flight that operates year round, with two 767-300's added during the summer. The other AC 142 that operates the morning departure YVR-YYZ-YUL which is almost always a A330. The same is true for AC 137, the evening Toronto departure to Vancouver. Other than these two flights, YVR doesn't see too many 330's other than the Transat charters. Mind you, there are quite a few 340's at the airport.

LTU's Vancouver service is scheduled, not charter.
