While we all fight and bs eachother about Boeing and Airbus, we forget that the real purpose of aviation is to take people on their annual vacations.

I just happen to be returning to Spain this summer after 8 long years to run the bulls in Pamplona. Along the way my friends and I will travel through Salamanca on our way to Portugal. Then up through Asturias and on to El Pais Vasco and the bulls.

Can you recommend some good/cheap party spots along the northern coast of Portugal? Please advise any good towns or routes we shouldn't miss.

As for the airplane itself, it will be a Delta 767ER. My friends will be flying Iberia's launch NYC-Barca service on their new A340's. This is advertised as the first direct service bewteen JFK-Barca but not true. I did this flight twice on TWA 757's. The worst business class service I've ever experienced. But that's another topic.
