What will happen to the A380s that are currently being test flown and flying promotional flights? Will airlines eventually get these? If the airlines do get these do they get a discount? After all, the plane is “used” and will need maintenance sooner then a new plane

I suggest you change the title to "Pre-Owned"....
The airlines will eventually get the planes, but you raise a good question with respect to discounts.

MSN001 will stay at Airbus as a permanent flight test aircraft.
The other flight test aircraft that are being used are all going to Etihad. I would guess they got a decent discount, as they will all be non-standard with slight variations between each other.
