SAS will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a A319 painted in a retro color scheme. The aircraft will be delivered in August 2006 and will either show SAS original 1946 colors or a later one called "viking c/s":

The Viking looks smashing on the A319. Takes me back to the days of my first trip from SEA via Gardermoen to CPH. It had a fuel stop built in at Gardermoen due to the heavy cargo they were carrying in the back of the 747 Combi. Magnus Viking (may she rest in peace).

I agree! Maybe SAS should have a poll on here to choose. While I'm not one of those people who believe cheat lines should be resurrected (they were fine in their day and certainly define an era), this retro colourscheme has CLASS stamped all over it.
