JAMAICA, N.Y. (March 28, 2006) – North American Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: WLDA), has taken delivery of an additional Boeing 767-300ER passenger aircraft, bringing its Boeing 767 fleet to a total of four. The aircraft was acquired under a five-year lease from ILFC.
North American now has a total of nine aircraft in its fleet. An additional Boeing 767 is scheduled for delivery in December 2006. The airline plans to utilize the new aircraft for scheduled service between the United States and West Africa. North American is the only U.S. airline currently offering nonstop scheduled service between the United States and Africa.
North American is a U.S.-certificated air carrier offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers.
