LAN Peru and LAN Ecuador will join Royal Jordanian, JAL, and Malev as the next airlines seeking admission into the oneWorld alliance, and LAN Argetina will likely follow shortly. LAN Peru is currently a oneWorld subsidiary, in the same way that American Eagle and British Mediteranean are, but not a member. LAN Ecuador is not a oneWorld affiliate, so oneWorld flyers cannot earn miles on XL* flights.
