An Air France B747-400 took off from Logan Airport at 3:05pm today (Tue Oct 10th). Just wondering what this was...
It's not the usual type for Boston nor is it the regular departure time...

Flight aware shows this as taking off for Miami as flight AF90 at 3.05pm
Medical emergency or technical problems I guess.

I was wondering about that myself. I saw it on gate 5 at around 14.30L. I figured it was the Miami flight on a diversion since JFK, EWR, and IAD don't receive that type, it was too early for the YUL 744 to divert and that would have been way, way too early for the regularly scheduled flight which doesn't go to a 744 until the end of this month.

Nice to see what it'll look like when the time comes Smile

Indeed it was AF90 to MIA

AF10 CDG-JFK and then AF11 JFK-CDG are on 744 !

LOL! I prefer a medical diversion than one of these diversions because of a butthead having a rebelious behavior or something
