Topic: MUC Former AA/LCO/DL Flights Username: Airlittoralguy Posted 2007-01-05 12:57:41 and read 1492 times.Hi everibody.
I know that DL used to fly CVG-MUC and JFK-MUC a few years ago. I also know that CO flew in 1993 1994 EWR-MUC using a Dc-10. Also it seems to me that AA flew a route out of MUC in the early nineties, but I am unsure.
If you have the schedules of these flights, please could you post them here ? Especially the DL and CO ones.
Also, do you see any of these routes/carriers coming back ? To me the most likely is AA. They could fly MIA-MUC and even JFK-MUC. This route could also work for DL. After all DL used to have a major presence in MUC with three or four daily flights, so who knows ...
Thank you in advance for your help. |

I believe that Delta flights were numbered DL076/077 and went CVG JFK MUC and vv. I don't believe that DL has ever operated nonstops between CVG and MUC. Before CVG was tagged on, DL just operated just JFK MUC. IIRC, the CVG addition happened in 1999.

Almost correct. The addition of the tag-on leg to CVG happened in 1998, May 25th to be precise. Flight lasted almost exactly 4 years, before the CVG extension was dropped and JFK-MUC renumbered to 040/041, before it fell victim to the past-9/11 traffic drop.

But for starters, here is the schedule for December 2000
076 CVG 1605-JFK 1810/2010-MUC 0955 next day
077 MUC 1020-JFK 1310/1450-CVG 1650
And in June 2001, when the CVG leg was gone
040 JFK 1735-MUC 0740 next day
041 MUC 1300-MUC 1555 |

DL had dedicated flights from CVG and from JFK into MUC. can well remember it.
