When flying out of SEA today, I noticed a Saudi 752 parked on the west side of the airport; across the runways from the main terminal. Then while taxiing, I noticed a Saudi 747 on the north end, parked near the FedEx birds.

Does anyone know what these Arabic beauties are doing in SEA? And if any SEA spotters can catch some good pic's, I would be interested to see them. Clickhappy, get clicking!

There have been several Saudi sightings at SEA in the last year or so...many of them the 747SPs. Probably the royals out on a pleasure jaunt. Glad to have them in town.   

Nothing to click. The wx was shit and light was dark at 7:30 when the 744 landed, the 752 came in around high noon, and everyone knows I don't shoot in the high mid day sun 

But the light sure was nice at 8:15

The Saudi 752 is a flying hospital equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and accompanies some of the less healthy Saudi royals on their junkets, and takes them to their doctor's appointments at the Mayo Clinic etc. It's the only 752 in Saudi livery as SV has never operated 757s as part of their regular fleet. Note the appropriate registration: HZ-HMED.

Did you stick around until 11:00ish when the 1st ever 717 landed at SEA? I caught the Midwest beaut on her way out. Between that, the Saudi birds, the Korean 772, the China A343 and 2 ex-Song DL 752s side by side, it was quite an interesting day.  

Maybe they're in talks with Bill Gates. He is probably going to buy their country.
