Throughout their website United is written as United Airlines, but at the bottom of the web page it's written United Air Lines. What's up with this? |

You can see the same thing at Chicago O'hare on United's hangar, it says United Air Lines. Back when United changed to the flying U from the shield in 1974, they consolidated Air Lines into Airlines. |
