Going through the past 30 years, what New England Cities have seen mainline service on full jets?

Here's what comes to mind:

Worcester MA
Nantucket MA
Hartford CT

Keene NH
Portland ME
Bangor ME
Presque Isle ME
Burlington VT

I think New Haven had 737-200 service in that window

Westover/Springfield, MA has A319 service to CMH on SkyBus currently.

What mainline equipment is going to:
-Keene, NH
-Nantucket, MA
-Presque Isle ME?

Not doubting, just curious.

Either that or just the codeshare with Cape and their Cessna's, but I do believe they now send their own metal their too.

Delta used to fly DC-9's to Nantucket, Keene, and Presque Isle.

Keene is a real surprise. As a long shot I might have suggested Lebanon, NH for your list, but not Keene.

I think BED used to get 146's from the old Presidential Airlines.

Other than that, the list is pretty much complete.

Martha's Vineyard and Hyannis have had mainline service in the past

Ugh. I wish that LEB had more service -- it's such a drag to get to and from Dartmouth because of LEB's limited service - a few incredibly overpriced ($400+ roundtrip to LGA!) flights on B1900's on US Express to LGA each day and that's it.

ACK also had CO mainline back in the late 90's or early 2000's... used to run 737 to EWR during the summer

Burnsie, the cities listed in the thread starter, list the cities that HAD mainline service,

EWB-New Bedford, MA had mainline DC-9 jet and FH-227 jet-prop service by NE in the late 60s, early 70s and briefly by DL after the merger, which was eventually dropped, by 1974, I believe.

I WISH someone still flew into Keene......DL or whoever, deosn't matter. It would certainly save a bunch of time, traffic-wise.
I flew to BOS two weeks ago, landed at 4.25 but my daughter didn't arrive at the airport until damn near 7.30 because of weather/traffic driving down from Keene. Had I been able to fly up, it would have been so much easier and quicker....

I am curious, how long did it actually take your daughter to drive from Keene, NH to Logan and at what time did she leave. I find it have to believe that it could have taken her more than 3 hours, even with bad traffic. In optimal conditions, the ride should be no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. I highly doubt any major air carrier, or LCC would ever consider service to Keene. Keene is far to remote and not near any decent sized cities.
