Cool. I'll be going to BKK via DXB in June. Just did the exact same routing 2 weeks ago and was bussed from/to aircraft 3 times. The only flight I got on at a garte was the last one.

Nevertheless, their set-up in pretty efffiecient, so it can only be better with the new terminal.

It's a good news. I 've been to DXB in January. Just a tranzit stop on SQ flight SIN-DXB-DEM.

It was a rush hour: 2 a.m. And the view was quite depressing: hundreds of people on the floor waiting for their flights to Asian countries, airport services screwed completely. Even Starbucks' coffee was terrible.

I hope the new terminal will help. I love Dubai. But recent changes - no good sales on malls, prices raised for everything - made impression that The Dubai Miracle had some troubles.

What about plans for a brand new airport?

In my opinion I think the new terminal will only be ready by June. But again saw today they are busy painting the yellow taxi lines at the west side of the terminal, so maybe they will be ready.

According to inside info the Terminal has been delayed again to October!!! So I am surprised at this post? Last time I passed by the Concourses were no where closed to being ready!!!

I think October is more realistic
