With all the mess going on at the new T5 with the baggage system on some thing quite different I wanted to know is there one of the BA Concorde's housed with in the terminal. I remember reading a while ago that one will be housed in there before T5 was completed was there any truth to that and if true does anyone have some pictures.

No, I believe it (G-BOAB) is sitting in BA's maintenance hanger, or was at last time I heard about her.

It certainly isn't in the building.

I suspect BA have lost it!  Wink

At one stage IIRC it was going to be over at T5 but that was ditched some time ago. I hope it does not end its days in the maintenence area. She would look lovely over at T5. We'll see.

It is true the Concorde is sitting at the BA maintenance hangar outside. If you travel by car from AVIS to terminal 4 you can never miss it as you will be passing literally meters away form it. I wish they had put that beauty inside T5 so if your flight got messed up by BA you could at least admire the beauty of that bird.
