Not long... Maybe 30 min
just to get fuel and to do a pilot change.

What is the reason that a pilot crew change is needed on LHR-EWR today?

It took CO a long time to turn the aircraft, considering it was a gas-n-go. They were on the ground for quite some time....

US759 ATH-PHL also stopped in BOS for fuel this afternoon. They're taxing to E7B for gas right now....

Is it common place for ATH-PHL to stop for fuel? If not, how come it did today?

Not to my knowledge. However, I do not work for USAirways East so I cannot give you accurate details about their Trans Atlantic operation. My answer is pure speculation that ATH-PHL is within the range capabilities of their 767-200.

The tech stop could have been required for a multitude of reasons. Enroute headwinds, odd routing, etc.
