Topic: Does VV Switch To Airbus? Username: An225 Posted 2008-09-07 09:22:16 and read 1272 times.Hello all,
I have looked at LY website and found that on some of its code-share flights with VV, the latter is going to use an A320 in addition to the regular 737-400. The service with these planes starts on October 30th, flight LY8815 TLV-ODS.
I couldn't find anything on VV website.
Is it true, or maybe a typo on behalf of LY?
If true, will it be leased or owned equipment?
What will be the config?
Thanks,

Quoting N14AZ (Reply 1): Could be related to the merger of Aerosvit and Donbassaero. Donbassaero do have A320s |
Might be. After I wrote this post a friend of mine said that the A320 already serves the ODS/DNK-TLV routes and is painted with Donbasaeros c/s. So maybe this is the answer to my Q.
The point is that VV website mentions a plan to switch to new equipment during 2009. Maybe this relates to the new equipment serving TLV?
