Yesterday I passed through LGW train station at about 10 AM. I noticed that there was a white DC10 parked at some gates (probably south terminal).

It seems it took off at about 2 o'clock (I was at Three Bridges and it was really noisy and it didn't gain too much altitude compared to other a/c I've seen from the same place I was).

This drew some questions:

- Are DC-10s banned in the EU due to noise?
- Who owns that bird?
- Was it flying on behalf of some airline (e.g. XL) or is it a charter?

that had to be Omini, flying for Monarch

lately they've been using them to SFB

Dont think so, Biman Bangledesh use them into LHR regularly.
