Which plane has served with the most airlines? I don't mean which type of plane, but which individual airplane? It seems there are some 747s that must have served with close to ten airlines during their lifetime. And some DC-8s that have been around for years certainly must have been with many different airlines during their lifetimes.

My bet would be it's a 727-200 out there hauling boxes. Possibly a DC-3 still serving a jungle route.

My bets on the DC3/C47 as they were so cheap when so many companies had their roots in the 46/47 years.
