I noticed in tomorrow's schedules that DL is flying an early morning PHL-ATL route with a 763. Is this the Eagles charter returning from Seattle being put back into service?

If so, do they just add an additional frequency for this day?

And is this aircraft in domestic configuration?

Its a domstic config A/C 24F 238Y

Most likely a return segment for the 763 bringing the Eagles back in from SEA tonight. Last week on the night of Game 5 of the World Series (Part 2) they did the same thing. A 763 operated in to PHL on a revenue flight in case the Philles lost and had to go back to Tampa Bay that night. It wasn't nescessary and I believe it went back out the next morning on another revenue trip back to ATL.

I got a nice close-up of the bird this a.m. boarding my Comair flight bound for BOS from the tarmac.

Must be nice for passengers to get a whole row to themselves subsidized by World Series champions Smile
