I really hope that this type of bad communication don't happend between flight controllers and pilots i.e. ATC. If it would, I won't like to fly that day.

I saw this pix a few weeks/months ago, and I thought it was attributed to an accidental activation of a fire-suppression system in the hanger involved. Anyone recall this...?

OPNL it could be a fire sepression system, however I know the one in one of the hangers at John Wayne it was smokey, and it takes all the air out, it also makes the floor very slippy!

It was more fun going to the text, and then linking to the pic. Of course that's totally superfluous information, but there's plenty of that in these forums, so here's my bit.  Big grin

In good fun,

TriStar.

I don't know anything more about this picture than any of you. I got the link from the UAL employee forum. I just thought I'd post it because I thought it was funny.

CleCo: I have no idea what airport this is at.

P.S. thanks, Aerosol for the tip.

This picture circulated a couple of years ago. It was attributed to a floor level fire suppression system in one of Raytheon's hangars. I assume that was the true story behind this great photo. I wonder how hard of a job it was to clean up those aircraft and get them airworthy?

Sure, I'll put this in the humor section ~ I was unaware such a section exists.

Jetguy: maybe you have the true story...who knows.
As I said before, I merely saw this picture and posted it for your enjoyment. I have no idea if the story is true or any other details. Your guess is as good as mine.

1. Write down "< img src ="

2. Then click on properties on the picture you want to insert.
3. Copy the file/URL name, paste it behind "< img src =".
And finally put a ">" on the end.

It should look like this:
"< img src=http://filename.jpg >"

(Don't have any spaces between sentences or letters, except betwen "img" and "src". Also don't write the "s.)

Hope you understood that, I think I made it sound complicated.  Smile
