Topic: Corsair Fleet Renewal Plan . A380? Username: FCKC Posted 2009-11-27 09:52:41 and read 2236 times.Corsair is in active studies for fleet renewal.
The first phase will either see the arrival of 2 more A330s (200 or 300 ?) or 777-200ERs or 777-300ERs.4 744s out of 6 will stay in the fleet till 2016.
This phase is only an interim scheme , up to the definitive , which will see 787 or A350XWB and 3 A380s.But probably not before 2016.
These 3 A380s will replace the last 744s on the more than 1 M / Year routes , namely PTP , FDF and RUN.The 747-8 is ruled out of the studied planes due to uncertain future of the pax version.
All will depend if they will suceed to find money.......= Only if TUI agree.
In another way they have plan to open San Jose De Costa Rica and perhaps Miami.

Interesting this possibility of putting A380s on the PTP/FDF
But RUN might be a bit A380 overcrowded after the UU order!
Anyway, as you say it all depends on TUI good will and financing |
