Flight 1101 ROC-CLT, an A319.

At least they didn't have to ditch into the Genesee River.

Landing in the Genesee River would not be fun. Eee-yuk. Well, probably no grosser than the Hudson. The Genesee isn't straight, either, it's as curly as the lower Mississippi once you get south of Rochester. Not a great landing pad.

Good to hear that they were able to land normally. The Democrat and Chronicle story gives some more information; apparently only one engine was damaged.

Nice to see the ever-vigelent D&C referred to it as an "A-19".
