Thanks | ||

I heard a pilot on the radio right after she took off saying something about it needing to do three domestic legs before it could go back long haul. I'm guessing it had something to do with maintenance performed. I was taxing back from the VOR on taxiway Bravo when she left. Very cool sight.

Just last week, UA used a 777 on a IAD-LAS run. United frequently subs wide-bodies at LAS for various reasons, even during the "all-Ted" period. Despite them not being scheduled, a couple per month are not unusual.

Both UA and Delta have been dropping in these larger birds pretty frequently, and their frequent visits are only expected to increase. UA with the 74s and 777, while Delta has had a mix of A330s and 777s.
