Just looked outside and saw a UA 763 in the old colors (so its a domestic bird) and also saw a TV news van. Anyone know?

The website for OMA doesn't list these flight on their arrivals or departures lists either.

There are actually 2 ual 767's in OMA as I type this.
UA244 Diverted to OMA with a maint. issue early today, thats the 2 cabin 767-300 (DEN-ORD)

and a rescuse mission was set up to go get the people and such

that is the 3 cabin 767-300, in the new paint. est. to leave at 652p. OMA time.

That pieces everything together quite well. I guess it would be safe to assume that the diverted a/c is AOG at OMA for the time being?

I've left OMA by now but I saw the second one while we were taxiing out.

I watched UA244 depart gate B36 today at Denver Int'l Airport. It was N669UA. I briefly thought about changing my DEN-ORD to UA244, an hour earlier than my scheduled flight. Glad I didn't!
