Widebody DELIVERIES for the first six months of 2010.

Airbus : 49 (54%)
Boeing : 41 (46%)
Total : 90

A330-300 : 25
777-300ER : 22
A330-200 : 15
777F : 9
A380-800 : 7
767-300F : 4
777-200LR : 3
767-300ER : 2
A340-500 : 1
A340-600 : 1
777-200ER : 1

A330 : 40
777 : 35
A380 : 7
767 : 6
A340 : 2


ENGINES

GE : 88 (44%)
RR : 74 (37%)
EA : 20 (10%)
PW : 16 (8%)
TOTAL : 198


For comparison, in the first half of 2009 Airbus delivered 46 and Boeing delivered 56 for a total of 102.

So, in 2010, for what it's work, Airbus are up by 3 and Boeing are down by 15.

(Airbus seem to deliver more in 'even' years and Boeing in 'odd'. Airbus outdelivered Boeing in 2006 and 2008. Boeing outdelivered Airbus in 2007 and 2009.)

One other interesting observation. Boeing delivered 41 widebodies in the first six months of 2010 - all but one with GE. (The exception was a 777-200ER with PW.)

No surprise that the A330 and 777 continue to lead the deliveries.

That is quite interesting. Next year should keep that trend continuing as Boeing will start adding 787 deliveries, and 747 deliveries as well.

Boeing will be heavily GE for quite some time. Hopefully, they can deliver at least 1 RR bird to a certain Japanese airline before the end of the year.

My guess is that Boeing will be delivering more than Airbus for a few years to come. Even with the planned increase in A380 output, the twin 777 and 787 lines will be pumping out scads of planes and that should comfortably put Boeing ahead.

I think so as well. But around 2014, Airbus should also be ramping up those A350 deliveries as well. Both of the big manufacturers should be pumping out loads of aircraft over the next decade.

Interesting how deliveries are trending into GE Boeings and RR Airbusses. The A350 will only underscore this once it gets up and running.

So the sole PW 77E was for KE? OZ?

MSN #853 for OZ. I'm pretty sure KE have no more 77Es left to be delivered.
